Expat Expo Tokyo 2023 will take place from Friday, Nov. 24, to Saturday, Nov. 25, at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center’s Hamamatsucho-Kan in the Tokyo Portcity Takeshiba building, a five-minute walk from JR Hamamatsucho Station.
Running concurrently with the third International Job Fair Tokyo, this year’s event will also include the first International Student School Fair.
This is a great opportunity for international residents to find helpful information, learn about services and obtain practical advice for daily living designed to make life in Japan more comfortable, convenient and fulfilling.
Exhibitors will include international schools, real estate firms, health care providers, tax specialists and more. Visitors will also get opportunities to enjoy interesting cultural activities, including traditional pastimes, cuisine from cultures around the world and live entertainment.
One of the events scheduled for this year’s expo is the National Federation of Tofu tasting event, which will feature the top three award winners in four categories of the 2022 Tofu Awards. This is a wonderful chance to experience one of the most traditional tastes in Japanese culture. The events and activities are free and all information will be available in English.
The International Job Fair is once again providing opportunities for residents mulling career moves and students seeking employment opportunities. A wide range of organizations will provide networking opportunities and employment advice.
Debuting at this year’s expo will be the first International Student School Fair. This event will provide students a chance to meet with representatives of Japanese universities, graduate programs and vocational training schools and learn about the types of support available for individuals interested in studying in Japan.
Pre-registration is suggested, and registering for any of the events allows one to participate in all three for free.
