Court tosses Uniqlo defamation lawsuit
A court has dismissed a ¥220 million libel suit by clothing chain Uniqlo Co. and its parent, Fast Retailing Co., that claimed publishing house Bungeishunju Ltd. hurt their reputation by printing an article and a book alleging store managers in Japan and factory workers in China toil under harsh labor conditions.
