Sagan Tosu have signed midfielder Aymen Tahar, the J. League first-division side announced Thursday.

The 26-year-old, who holds a British passport and played for Algeria's U-20 side, started his career at Sheffield United in 2008 and spent last season at Portugal's Boavista on loan from Romanian side Steaua Bucharest.

Tahar will be the second African to join Tosu in two weeks after the signing of Morocco forward Moestafa El Kabir.
