Harukyo Nomura shot a final-round 1-under 70 to finish in a tie for ninth at the Meijer LPGA Classic on Sunday.

Starting the day in 11th, Nomura birdied No. 4 and No. 10 but struggled with her putter from there on. She finished with a bogey on No. 18 as she rounded off at 10-under 274 at the par-71 Blythefield Country Club.

South Korean Kim Sei-young earned her second victory on tour after she edged Spain's Carlota Ciganda in the playoff. Each finished the final round at 17-under-par 267.

The previous two days, Nomura dropped strokes on the back nine and struggled again on Sunday, missing birdie putts of 10 feet on No. 11 and 11 feet on both Nos. 13 and 15. Poor iron shots handed her a bogey on 18.

"Putts didn't fall for me today and my performance (as a whole) wasn't really good," Nomura said. "I'm frustrated I bogeyed No. 18 with successive mistakes."

Nomura, seeking her third win of the season, finished in the top nine for the fifth time.
