The Urawa Reds may consider legal action against the person who taunted Kashima Antlers Brazilian midfielder Caio with racist tweets, the J. League first-division club announced on its website Monday.
The tweets were made after Antlers defeated Reds 2-0 on Saturday.
Urawa said that on Sunday it received a telephone call from the person who is believed to be the poster of the offensive tweets. Although he agreed to meet team officials, he did not appear at the agreed time and place and the club has been unable to reach him on his cell phone.
