The Japanese women's volleyball team will launch its Rio Olympics campaign against South Korea in a rematch of the 2012 bronze-medal game, FIVB announced on Tuesday.

After facing South Korea on Aug. 6, Japan plays Cameroon two days later before taking on two-time defending champion Brazil on Aug. 10.

Japan then plays Russia on Aug. 12, wrapping up the first round against Argentina on Aug. 14.

The top four in each of the two six-team groups advance to the quarterfinals.
