CLEVELAND – The Browns have signed free-agent quarterback Robert Griffin III, who hasn’t been the same since his dazzling rookie season in Washington.
Griffin didn’t play a snap in 2015 and was recently released by the Redskins. The Browns met with Griffin last week and will now give him a chance to resurrect his career and win their starting job.
Cleveland has started 24 quarterbacks since 1999 and the team is expected to take a one with the No. 2 overall pick in this year’s draft.
