Urawa Reds Ladies defender Ruka Norimatsu has pulled out of Nadeshiko Japan's training camp getting underway in Okinawa on Saturday due to ill health, the Japan Football Association said Friday.
INAC Kobe Leonessa's Asuna Tanaka has been called up to replace Norimatsu for the Feb. 13-19 camp for domestic-based players.
Former women's world champion Japan kicks off its Asian qualifying campaign for this summer's Rio de Janeiro Olympics against Australia on Feb. 29.
Norio Sasaki's side also takes on South Korea, China, Vietnam and North Korea in the round-robin tournament in Osaka.
