Masashi Ebinuma won the men's 66-kg division in the Grand Slam Paris on Saturday, along with Toru Shishime who triumphed in the 60-kg category.

Ebinuma overcame reigning world champion An Ba-ul of South Korea by ippon in the quarterfinals, bettered Frenchman Kilian Le Blouch on shido penalties in the semifinals before another ippon clinched the title against Mongolian Tumurkhuleg Davaadorj.

Shishime, like Ebinuma, didn't give away a single point in his five bouts en route to the title, edging Armenian Hovhannes Davtyan on a yuko point in the semifinal and Ilgar Mushkiyev of Azerbaijan with two yuko points in the final.

Hiroyuki Akimoto was third in the 73-kg division after losing by ippon to South Korean An Chang-rim, the eventual winner, in the semis.

Among the women, Miku Tashiro was runnerup in the 63-kg class, losing to Clarisse Agbegnenou of France by ippon in the final.
