The Chiba Lotte Marines have signed 37-year-old right-hander Jason Standridge, the Pacific League club announced Friday.

Standridge pitched for the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks for the last two seasons, when they were both the PL and Japan Series champion. He was 10-7 with a 3.74 ERA in 144-1/3 innings this year as he reached 10-plus wins in both seasons.

Standridge, who signed a one-year $1.2 million deal with the Marines, played four years for the Hanshin Tigers from 2010 and is 63-54 with a 3.19 ERA in 168 career games in Nippon Professional Baseball.
