The Tokyo Yakult Swallows have signed veteran big league right-hander Kyle Davies, right-hander Josh Lueke and lefty Luis Perez on one-year contracts, the Central League champions announced Thursday.

The 32-year-old Davies has a 43-65 career record over eight major league seasons, mostly with the Atlanta Braves and Kansas City Royals through 2011. After suffering from shoulder trouble, Davies had a solid season this year in Triple-A, posting an 11-8 record as a starter with a 3.30 ERA for Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

He was called up to the New York Yankees and pitched in one game. His deal with the Swallows is estimated at $600,000 (roughly ¥73 million).

The 31-year-old Lueke has pitched in 72 major league games, with a 2-5 record and a 6.16 ERA. He pitched this year in Mexico, going 7-5 with a 2.43 ERA and 24 saves, and has agreed to a $300,000 deal.

Perez, 30, pitched for the Dominican Republic in the recent Premier 12. He is 5-6 with a 4.15 ERA over 78 big league games, the last coming in 2013 with the Toronto Blue Jays. His deal is reportedly worth $450,000.
