Santa Claus came to Kurume University Hospital on Tuesday in the form of popular big league infielder Munenori Kawasaki.
Dressed in a Santa suit, Kawasaki, who played for the Toronto Blue Jays in 2015, made a surprise visit to the hospital to the delight of children and adults alike. Kawasaki, who is currently a free agent, appeared to thoroughly enjoy the visit.
Popular in America for his enthusiastic and playful interviews, Kawasaki mixed in expressions in the English he has picked up living abroad and fielded questions from children in the pediatrics ward.
