Japan midfielder Aya Miyama was among the three final candidates nominated for the 2015 Ballon d'Or Women's World Player of the Year as announced by FIFA on Monday.

Also included were World Cup MVP Carli Llyod of the United States and World Cup top scorer Celia Sasic of Germany.

Nadeshiko Japan head coach Norio Sasaki was among the nominees for FIFA World Coach of the Year for Women's Football as FIFA disclosed the three-man shortlist for each of the eight categories.

The winner will be announced at a ceremony in Zurich on Jan. 11.
