TokyoYakult Swallows starter Shohei Tateyama claimed his second win of the season after holding the Chunichi Dragons to three runs in a 7-5 win on Friday.
Following his first win in three seasons two weeks ago, Tateyama (2-0) allowed four hits and struck out three in seven innings, while walking three.
The right-handed side-armer, who won 63 games from 2008-12, has undergone three Tommy John surgeries in his career and returned from the latest setback on June 28 after an 813-day layoff.
