Orix Buffaloes starter Bryan Bullington will be out four to six weeks with a torn right-heel muscle, the Pacific League club said Monday.

The right-hander hurt himself while trying to cover first base in the Buffaloes' 9-4 win over the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles on Saturday, in which he was the winning pitcher.

It was Bullington's first game back since late May, when he was sidelined after complaining of discomfort in his right shoulder.

In 10 starts this season, Bullington is 3-3 with a 3.75 ERA.
