Kashiwa Reysol triumphed at home in the J. League for the first time this season with a 1-0 victory over Gamba Osaka on Tuesday.

Kashiwa was the only team in J1 without a home win, but thanks to Eduardo's 12th-minute header it finally gave its fans something to cheer about, ending a seven-game winless drought across all competitions.

Reysol improved to 17 points — three points clear of the drop zone — with one game left in the first stage. Gamba, who lost the stage title to Urawa Reds over the weekend, stood on 29 points and in fourth place.
