The Chiba Lotte Marines mounted a dramatic three-run, ninth-inning comeback over the Yomiuri Giants to win 3-2 in interleague action on Sunday.
Marines No. 9 hitter Yuta Yoshida struck the game winner off closer Hirokazu Sawamura with the bases loaded and two outs, looping a 2-1 fastball to left field for a sayonara single.
"It was the chance the whole team set up for me so I was determined to get a run in," said Yoshida after the Marines' first walk-off win of the season.
