Texas Legends guard Yuki Togashi will miss the remainder of the NBA Development League season due to an injured left ankle, his management company said Tuesday.

The 167-cm Togashi, 21, injured his left ankle in a game against the Oklahoma City Blue on Feb. 20. He was being treated for the injury, but gave up on a comeback this season after consulting a doctor.

This season, Togashi appeared in 25 D-League games and averaged 8.3 minutes, 2.0 points and 1.0 assists per game.

Through Monday, the Legends are 20-24. They are in last place in the four-team Southwest Division. They have six games remaining on their regular-season schedule.

Togashi, a Niigata Prefecture native, played for the bj-league's Akita Northern Happinets during the 2012-13 and 2013-14 seasons. He was named the 2013-14 All-Star Game MVP and led the bj-league in assists (7.8) last season.
