Freshman forward Yuta Watanabe and the George Washington University men's basketball team is scheduled to take on host Pittsburgh in the Postseason NIT on Tuesday night.
GWU enters the tournament as a No. 5 seed. If the Colonials (21-12) win against Pitt, they would advance to meet top-seeded Temple or No. 8 Bucknell in the next round.
Fourth-seeded Pitt takes a 19-14 record into the postseason tournament.
