The Los Angeles Angels' Albert Pujols pulled out of Major League Baseball's eight-game tour in Japan next month citing family reasons, organizers said Monday.
Three-time MVP Pujols hit .272 with 28 home runs and 105 RBIs in 159 games this season for the Angels, who won the American League West but were swept by the Kansas City Royals in the league division series.
The games will be held from Nov. 10 to 20.
