Game 3 of the first stage of the Climax Series scheduled between the Orix Buffaloes and the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters was postponed on Monday due the approach of Typhoon Vongfong, which made landfall on Kyushu the same day.
Game 3, which had been scheduled for Monday afternoon at Kyocera Dome in Osaka, will be played at the same venue on Tuesday evening starting at 6 p.m. West Japan Railway was set to cancel all conventional service in Osaka and its surrounding areas as the typhoon was expected to approach Monday afternoon.
