Women's World Cup winner Nahomi Kawasumi will rejoin her old club INAC Kobe as of Sept. 1 after her loan deal with the Seattle Reign expires.

INAC made the announcement on Monday. The 28-year-old Nadeshiko Japan striker helped Seattle win the National Women's Soccer League regular season with nine goals and five assists in 20 appearances.

Kawasumi, who was instrumental in Japan's winning the 2011 World Cup and a silver medal at the 2012 London Olympics, will return at the end of the NWSL playoffs in late August.
