Masanori Ishikawa got more than enough run support against fellow lefty Tetsuya Utsumi, Tetsuto Yamada homered and drove in three runs, and the Tokyo Yakult Swallows ran roughshod over the Central League-leading Yomiuri Giants in a 12-1 rout on Monday night.

With the victory, the Swallow snapped a five-game losing streak.

The Giants took a 1-0 lead on an Itaru Hashimoto sac fly in the second inning, but the Swallows tied it when Yamada led off the third with his 13th home run of the season.
