Shintaro Fujinami yielded just three hits over eight shutout innings, cleanup hitter Mauro Gomez had an RBI double and the Hanshin Tigers blanked the Chiba Lotte Marines 2-0 in a makeup game on Tuesday night.

The Marines, who slipped back to .500, snapped a six-game winning streak and lost for the first time in interleague play.

Fujinami (3-3) struck out six, walked three and hit a batter in a 120-pitch outing in front of a crowd of 26,441 at Koshien Stadium. The right-hander won his first decision since April 30. South Korean Oh Seung-hwan closed out the ninth for his 13th save.

Hideaki Wakui (2-6) threw two-run ball over eight innings but failed to get the necessary run support.

Captain Takashi Toritani drew a fourth-inning leadoff walk, stole second and scored on Gomez's hit down the left-field line. Kosuke Fukudome added a sacrifice fly with one out in the same inning.
