J. League first-division side Cerezo Osaka announced Wednesday that defender Kota Fujimoto will be out of action for four weeks after suffering an injury in training.

The 27-year-old Fujimoto suffered damage to the triceps muscle in his left calf during practice on Tuesday. Three days prior to that, the center-back had put in a full shift in Cerezo's season-opening 1-0 loss to defending champion Sanfrecce Hiroshima.
