New Cerezo Osaka forward Diego Forlan will arrive in Japan next Wednesday, the J.League first-division club said Friday.
The 34-year-old Uruguay international won the Golden Ball Award as the MVP at the 2010 World Cup finals in South Africa. Forlan has also twice led Spain's La Liga in scoring. Since 2012, he had been playing at Brazilian club Internacional.
