Japan and Inter Milan defender Yuto Nagatomo scored his fifth goal of the season on Monday in a 1-1 draw in the Italian Serie A against Chievo.

Four minutes after Alberto Paloschi gave the visitors the lead, Nagatomo found space in front of goal and drilled a Ricardo Alvarez cross from the right into the net.

Two minutes later Nagatomo found the net again, but the goal was waved off when his teammate was harshly ruled offside.

"It's too bad about that second goal," said Nagatomo, who has five goals at the season's halfway mark. "However, I'm currently enjoying a sensation I've never felt before."

Ten minutes after the intermission, Nagatomo had a heated exchange with veteran teammate Esteban Cambiasso.

"I'm not going to go into details about what was said, but our relationship is based on trust, so strong language is OK," Nagatomo said. "Even if it leads to a fight, one has to say what needs saying."
