Red Reveur was crowned Japan's top 2-year-old filly after edging superstar-in-the-making Harp Star in the Hanshin Juvenile Fillies on Sunday.

The Keita Tosaki-ridden fifth pick was declared the winner by a nose after the photos at Hanshin Racecourse, where the Deep Impact-sired Harp Star went off as the overwhelming favorite in a full field of 18.

Eighth-choice Forevermore finished a narrow third, going under the wire another neck behind. Red Reveur's winning time over 1,600 meters was 1 minute, 33.9 seconds on firm going.
