Reigning world junior champion Elena Radionova made a triumphant debut at the senior level Friday, winning the Nebelhorn Trophy in commanding fashion.

The Russian finished with 188.21 points, more than 25 points in front of two-time world champion Miki Ando. This was the first competition in two years for Ando, who announced in July that she had given birth to a daughter three months earlier. American Ashley Cain was third.

In pairs, world champions Tatiana Volosozhar and Maxim Trankov of Russia won the title by a whopping 57 points.

Nebelhorn is also serving as the final qualifier for the Sochi Olympics. Australia, Georgia, Norway, Austria, the Czech Republic and Brazil earned the final six spots in the women’s field while Britain, Ukraine, Estonia and Israel got the last four spots in pairs.
