Ryo Ishikawa shot a 66 to move up to a tie for 24th after the third round of the John Deere Classic on Saturday.

Ishikawa, who made his first cut in four tournaments with a 2-under 69 that put him in 36th on Friday, had five birdies in a flawless round at the par-71 TPC Deere Run to reach 10-under 203.

"I didn't make many mistakes and took my chances," said Ishikawa. "I was one stroke short of my target but didn't make any bogeys and was able to improve my score."

Daniel Summerhays of the United States fired a 62 and took a two-shot lead over Canada's David Hearn at 19-under 194. American Zach Johnson was another stroke back.
