Relegated Vissel Kobe's World Cup striker Yoshito Okubo has signed a full transfer deal with Kawasaki Frontale, the J. League first division side announced on Wednesday.

The 30-year-old Okubo's contract is for two years, running through Jan. 31, 2015. Last season for Vissel, who finished 16th on their way down to J2, Okubo scored four goals in 26 league appearances.

For his career, he has 89 goals in 241 games.

"This is my first transfer out to Kanto so I am a little nervous," Okubo said through a statement released by Frontale, who were eighth in 2012, 14 points off the pace of champions Sanfrecce Hiroshima.

"I hope I can fit into the team as soon as possible and help the club win some games."

As part of their winter fire sale, Vissel also announced Wednesday they will part with Japan defender Masahiko Inoha and midfielder Takuya Nozawa.

Inoha has signed with Jubilo Iwata while Nozawa is headed back to Kashima Antlers, who he left two years ago for Vissel.
