Yoshinobu Takahashi homered twice and drove in five runs as the Yomiuri Giants snapped their three-game losing streak with a 10-2 rout of the Hanshin Tigers on Sunday.

Takahashi hit a two-run drive in the second inning and added a three-run shot off Casey Fossum (2-5) in the third, helping Yomiuri jump out to a 7-0 lead after three innings at Tokyo Dome.

"I had a good swing," Takahashi said, referring to his first homer since June 5. "We lost three in a row and were very frustrated so I'm glad I could come up with results in a game we needed to win."
