World champion Kohei Uchimura won his second consecutive title in the individual all-around at the NHK Cup on Sunday.

Uchimura collected 275.575 points for his performances in six disciplines on the last day of the two-day event, which doubled as the final qualifier for the world gymnastics championships in the Netherlands in October.

Uchimura booked his ticket along with Koko Tsurumi, who claimed her second straight title in the women's individual all-around with a total of 173.775.

"Just as yesterday, I didn't make any errors. At the world championships, we have a team competition unlike last year. We want to motivate ourselves as a team and make solid performances, so we can win," Uchimura said.
