New Zealand ran in seven tries to defeat England 44-28 on Sunday and defend its title at the rugby junior world championships.
Aaron Cruden scored two tries in a span of five minutes as New Zealand took a 25-14 lead in the first half.
Carl Fearns pulled a try back for England after the break but Zac Guildford’s second try of the game in the 59th minute sealed the win.
South Africa defeated Australia 32-5 to finish in third place.
New Zealand defeated England 38-3 in the inaugural under-20s world championship in Wales last year.
