Ken Terauchi, who will compete in the Olympics for the fourth time in a row this summer in Beijing, won the men’s 3-meter springboard for the sixth consecutive year at the diving national championships on Saturday. Terauchi scored a high mark of 103.25 for performing a twist on his sixth and final attempt at Tokyo Tatsumi International Swimming Center. His winning total of 520.55 points gave him a record 11th national title overall in the 3-meter event. In the women’s platform dive, Risa Asada, who came sixth at the 2005 world championships, won her first title in two years with a score of 355.50. Mai Nakagawa (346.60) took second while Fuuka Tatsumi (325.15) was third.
