David Palmer, the bj-league’s 2006-07 MVP, won back-to-back titles with the Osaka Evessa. Now the former Southern Utah University player has a chance to win a championship in the NBA Development League while playing for the Dakota Wizards. Through Wednesday, Dakota led the four-team Central Division with a 23-18 record. The regular season concludes on April 12. Palmer, a forward, has played in 33 games this season. He’s averaging 7.4 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.3 assists while playing 21.1 minutes per game.
