CHIBA – JEF United Chiba have signed Bosnia and Herzegovina midfielder Mirko Hrgovic from Croatian side Hadjuk Split, the J. League first division club said Friday. Croatian-born Hrgovic has been capped 28 times and started in Bosnia’s 3-0 defeat to Japan in a friendly in Tokyo in January. Chiba will be Hrgovic’s second J. League club. He had a short spell at Gamba Osaka in 2001, making just four league appearances.
