Michael Parker scored a season-high 32 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead the Rizing Fukuoka to a 93-86 victory over the visiting Sendai 89ers on Friday night. Parker converted on 13 of 15 shots (a whopping 86.7 percent) from inside the 3-point arc. Fukuoka (9-16) outscored Sendai 32-28 in the decisive fourth quarter. Joshua Peppers added 23 points and five assists and Jeffrey Price had a 14-point outing for the Rizing. For the 89ers, Ryan Blackwell had a team-best 25 points, Nick DeWitz scored 21, Bobby St. Preux had 11 and Hikaru Kusaka 10. The bj-league resumes play on Saturday with a full slate of games.
