Wolf shaved .02 second off the world mark she set in March in powering to her second win of the season in 37.02 seconds, while China’s Wang Beixing was second in 37.21 and Yoshii third in 37.88. Sayuri Osuga was ninth and Shihomi Shinya placed 11th. Canada’s Jeremy Wotherspoon won the men’s 500 in 34.23, while Keiichiro Nagashima was the fastest among Japanese skaters and finished sixth in 34.59. Maki Tabata finished 10th in the women’s 3,000.
