SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – Ai Miyazato withdrew from the LPGA State Farm Classic after feeling unwell during the final round on Sunday. Miyazato started the day in 17th but got off to a poor start with a double bogey on the first hole and her game went on a downward spiral from the fourth at Panther Creek Country Club. The 22-year-old made three consecutive bogeys from the fourth and decided she could no longer continue after she twice hit the pond on the way to a triple bogey on the seventh. Miyazato was quoted by her manager as saying she had been suffering from dizziness since the morning. It is the first time Miyazato has withdrawn during an event since she made her professional debut in 2003.
