Armani / Ristorante, a luxurious Italian restaurant on the 10th floor of the Armani / Ginza Tower, an iconic building in the heart of Ginza, presents a delightful summer menu “Giorgio Armani” comprising the very best ingredients inspired by the season and reflecting Italian culinary heritage.
Working on a “Colors of the Italian summer” theme, executive chef Francesco Mazzi created a course menu for ¥16,500 (tax and service charge included) featuring authentic Italian dishes where Mediterranean aromas are playfully blended with exotic accents.
Eight items lend their color to the course: Three kinds of appetizers, including a small taste of the day; shrimp catalana with salad and cream bisque; smoked Black Angus beef fillet, Grana Padano cheese, and seasonal vegetables with bagna cauda sauce. Then comes tortellini stuffed with burrata cheese made from Hokkaido milk, followed by the main dish of veal loin rolled in pancetta and sauteed sweetbreads with green asparagus.
Guests can round off their enjoyable meal with limoncello liquor-based granita (a partially frozen drink) and roast white chocolate cake with fruit and pistachio gelato, as well as Italian coffee and petit gateau.
