I wonder why the Group of Seven nations have concerned themselves only with Ukraine's problems recently without any mention of Syria. If they talk about world peace, how can they leave out Syria?

To support only one side in Syria only makes the civil war more violent. Sacrificing innocent citizens' lives in the struggle for power is the most sinful of actions.

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry was trying to get foreign countries to help the people of Syria establish a democratic coalition that included the Assad government's side as well as the various rebel groups. This is the way out of the chaos, and the idea should not be put off no matter how futile it seems.
