The Sept. 24 article from Sentaku magazine, titled "Power industry campaigns to pull the plug on the DPJ," states that "it became apparent that continued stoppage of the Oi reactors would cause serious power shortages in [Mayor Toru Hashimoto's] own city of Osaka." When on earth did this become "apparent"? What was apparent is that there was no threat of a power shortage.
