New president at United
United Continental Holdings, Inc. named Scott Kirby as the president of United Airlines on Aug. 29. In this newly created role, Kirby will assume responsibility for United's operations, marketing, sales, alliances, network planning and revenue management.
Kirby joins United from American Airlines, where he served as president following the merger of American and US Airways in 2013.
