A 7-year-old boy drowned in a river in Hiroshima Prefecture while getting ready with his father for a local cleanup event.

According to the police, Kazuma Suzuki went to the Ashida River in Fukuyama with his father to participate in the event. But before the event started at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, he disappeared from his father's sight.
