Two China Coast Guard vessels briefly entered Japanese territorial waters around the Senkaku Islands in the East China Sea on Saturday morning, the Japan Coast Guard said.

The intrusion, the 29th of its kind this year, occurred at around 10 a.m. and the ships left the waters about two hours later, according to the coast guard.

Chinese vessels have continued entering the territorial waters around the Japanese-controlled uninhabited islets, also claimed by China and Taiwan, which call them Diaoyu and Tiaoyutai, respectively.
