Mitsubishi Motors Corp. on Thursday announced it is recalling more than 830,000 vehicles worldwide to fix defective engine and brake parts.

Mitsubishi Motors is recalling 191,596 vehicles in Japan and about 645,000 exported to the United States, Europe and other overseas markets, a company spokesman said.

The recall involves the Delica minivan, the RVR and Outlander sport utility vehicles, the Galant and the Lancer Evolution sedans made between October 2005 and October 2011.

There have been no reports of injuries resulting from the faulty parts, the spokesman said.

Separately, Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corp. said it is recalling 56,014 vehicles in Japan across three models, including its Fuso Canter truck and Fuso Rosa bus, to fix defective oil cooler hoses in the automatic transmissions and fuel pumps.
