Tokyo's Haneda airport opened more shops Thursday in an expanded retail zone in its international terminal.

The new area on the fourth and fifth floors accommodates a grilled-eel shop, a bakery and four other food outlets as well as mobile phone shops.

The shops are accessible to people who are not flying out of the airport, Tokyo International Air Terminal Corp. said.

A Japanese-style cafeteria and two fast food outlets — all open 24 hours a day — are scheduled to open Sept. 12, raising the number of food and beverage shops to 35.
