Police investigating the apparent suicide of a 30-year-old man who was hit by a Tobu Isesaki Line train at around 8:30 a.m. Sunday found the victim's parents dead in their home in Kasukabe, Saitama Prefecture, when they went to the house around noon.

A note found in the home indicated that the son, a bone-setter for judoka, killed his father, Toshio Sasaki, 58, and mother, Tokie, 57, and then committed suicide. The police had gone to the house to verify the identity of the son.

The father's bloody corpse was found in the first-floor living room and his wife's body was found in a second-floor bedroom. The police plan to conduct a judicial autopsy to determine the cause of death.

A 22-yer-old son also lived at the house.
