Konica Minolta Inc. said Tuesday it will acquire a 10 percent stake in a French digital printer manufacturer for €13.7 million.

The copier and printer maker will expand its existing collaboration with MGI Digital Graphic Technology, headquartered in Ivry, outside Paris, to cover co-development and co-marketing of products, it said.

MGI designs, manufactures and markets a range of digital presses and recently expanded into inkjet equipment for printed electronics. It posted net sales of over €27 million in fiscal 2012.
